About the opportunity:

Mastermyne has partnered with Whitehaven Coal Limited since 2016, and look forward to continuing this longstanding client relationship. Mastermyne has secured a Gateroad Development contract in addition to our existing Cut and Flit contract, extending our mining services and providing employment stability for our crews. 

We’re seeking Underground Deputies with extensive underground coal experience with a focus on cut and flit mining or gateroad development.  Our Deputies are driven, motivate others, lead by example and are critical to delivery of a safe and productive project.

Underground Deputy applicants will require;

• Demonstrated experience in underground mining, ideally with cut & flit/gateroad development work
• NSW Deputy Certification & Practicing Certificate
• Training transcripts and/or qualifications & tickets
• Valid & current drivers licence
• Right to work in Australia
