Board Treasurer (Voluntary)

Join Us as Treasurer: Make a Meaningful Impact!

We are looking for a Treasurer to join our Board of Directors at Stepping Out, a small not-for-profit with DGR status which has been supporting female survivors of childhood sexual abuse since 1986 through programs, advocacy and referrals.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee financial management and budgeting
• Ensure transparency and compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with a passionate team to drive our mission forward
• Play a key role in fundraising and strategic planning
• Capacity to commit to 5-10 hours/month and 6-10 board meetings per year in Marrickville.
• Volunteer position.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in finance, accounting, and non-profit governance experience
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A commitment to our mission to support female survivors of childhood sexual abuse
• Interpersonal skills in a board setting

Essential:

• A current Working with Children check. 
• Director's Id issued by ABRS (Australian Business Registry Services)
