About The Role

Are you a Pharmacy student looking to gain valuable experience in a hospital pharmacy setting?

Join our dedicated and innovative Pharmacy team at University Hospital Geelong and gain practical experience in a supportive teaching hospital environment. This is a varied, challenging and rewarding opportunity to develop your skills while supporting the delivery of safe and timely pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities

Support the dispensary team to provide safe and timely medication supplyAssist with outpatient, discharge and inpatient medication ordersRespond to pharmacy enquiries from patients and Barwon Health staffAssist with medication distribution, stock management and routine pharmacy dutiesComplete all work accurately and in accordance with Barwon Health policies and procedures

About You

Currently studying a Bachelor or Masters Pharmacy degree at a recognised universityEffective and courteous communication skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamStrong attention to accuracy and detailSelf-directed learning ability
