About the role
A great lifestyle in a treasured environment, this is life at PSC!
The opportunity
Due to an internal secondment, we’re seeking an experienced Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join our Assets team for a contract period up until August 2028 (approx. 2 years).
If you consider yourself a ‘jack of all trades’ or ‘generalist’ type of civil engineer rather than a ‘specialist’ this may be a good fit for you. Ideally you will have a broad experience base, be a good communicator and either desire to or have had experience in managing a small team. This role provides a stepping stone to move into management whilst still diving into the detail.
This role is in the Civil Assets Group within the Asset Section and is responsible for core activities such as street lighting, pump monitoring and condition inspections but also managing projects relating to civil assets which have been identified through failures, condition assessments, or proposed development.
This would be a great opportunity for a candidate with prior experience in planning and investigation, detail design, contract preparation, contract administration and construction.
The key responsibilities within this role are listed within the position description.
We’re all about putting the right people, in the right role! Here’s what we’re looking for:
