Ilim College is seeking a passionate and dedicated VCE Biology and Science Teacher to join our Kiewa Secondary Campus for the 2027 academic year.

This is a full-time, fixed-term replacement position offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to deliver engaging and high-quality Biology and Science programs while supporting students to achieve their academic potential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and rigorous Science lessons across the Secondary years, including VCE Biology. You will create a positive and inclusive learning environment, use effective teaching and assessment practices, and contribute to the broader life of the College.

• Relevant teaching qualifications and current VIT registration

• Demonstrated ability to teach VCE Biology and Secondary Science

• Strong knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum and VCE requirements

• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated learning experiences

• Effective classroom management and communication skills

• Commitment to supporting student learning, wellbeing and achievement

• A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute positively to the College community

• Commitment to the values, ethos and expectations of Ilim College
