Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

We’re looking for an experienced Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our busy team. We service and repair a wide range of heavy vehicles including trucks, trailers, plant and fleet vehicles

About the Role

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Servicing and preventative maintenance
• Diagnostics and fault finding
• Engine, drivetrain, brake and suspension repairs 
• Electrical and hydraulic repairs 
• Completing repair orders and job documentation 
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment 
• Working closely with foremen and the wider workshop team

We have opportunities available in our workshop, field service/breakdown team, and afternoon shift, with positions available to suit different experience levels and preferences.

What We’re Looking For

• Trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent) 
• Current driver’s licence (HR licence an advantage) 
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Pride in the quality of your work 
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
