About the Role

Working closely with the Partners and leadership team, you will manage a portfolio of clients while providing high-quality business advisory and compliance services and play a key role in mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of SME, family group and high-net-worth clients.

• Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns.

• Deliver proactive business advisory services and strategic insights.

• Assist clients with cash flow management, budgeting and forecasting.

• Review work prepared by junior team members and provide mentorship.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance client outcomes.

• Contribute to business development initiatives and firm growth strategies.

About You

You are an experienced accountant who enjoys building client relationships and delivering practical commercial advice.

Essential Requirements

• CA or CPA qualified.

• Minimum 4+ years' experience in public practice accounting.

• Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax and compliance requirements.

• Experience managing a client portfolio autonomously.

• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.

• A proactive and solutions-focused approach.

Highly Regarded

• Experience in business advisory engagements.

• Leadership or mentoring experience.

• Audit exposure or understanding of assurance engagements.

• Desire to progress into ownership and practice leadership.
