Dejaxo is a family owned artisan bakery, baking fresh products daily in Malaga, and selling from four locations across Perth. 

About the role

An opportunity exists in our bread production working on the dough bench. You will be helping with everything from baguettes to cinnamon buns and donuts. Cleaning and various kitchen duties form part of this position. Experience is not essential but a willingness to work and learn are a must.                                               

Benefits and perks

This is a part time role, 1pm start Monday, Tuesday every second Wednesday, Thursday and every second Saturday (12 noon). Alternating Wednesday and Saturday shifts for a regular 4 day week. You can be proud of producing sourdough and yeasted products all additive free, no improver here. Weekend and evening penalty rates apply.

Skills and experience

Previous bakery experience not essential but a willingness to learn and work are a must have. Food prep plus knowledge of food safety and hygiene will be highly regarded although we're happy to train someone who is a fast mover.  The role will suit someone efficient and organised who is physically fit as there is handling of heavy dough tubs and 25kg flour bags etc.
