Assemblers / Gasket Machine Operator

A leading Sheetmetal Manufacturer in the Dandenong South area is seeking the services of  assemblers

The ideal candidates will be hard working team members, able to listen, understand and undertake instructions to any given task.

Gasket Machine Operation:

• Machine Operation: Set up and run automated FIP gasket dispensing machine

• Program Loading: Load, verify, and make minor adjustments to CNC dispensing programs.

• Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, or vision systems to ensure correct bead width, height, and placement.

• Material Management: Load, mix, and monitor chemical compounds, ensuring proper pressure, flow rates, and temperature controls.

• Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily cleaning of dispensing nozzles, valves, and pumps to prevent material clogging.

• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve minor mechanical or software faults during production runs.
  

 Assembly:

General duties include but are not limited to:

• Assembly

• Packing

• Operate power tools

• Rivet guns

• Sanding

• Pick/packing

Requirements:

• Experience with hand tools

• Previous experience in assembly

• Good attitude and strong work ethic

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Reliable and flexible

• Good communication skills and attention to detail

• ability to troubleshoot and problem solve

A current forklift licence is preferred but not essential
