The Perkins is seeking a highly organised and personable Community Fundraising Coordinator to support the delivery and growth of our community fundraising, peer-to-peer fundraising and supporter engagement activities. This position is offered on a full time permanent basis, located at our state-of the-art medical research facilities in Nedlands.

About this role

Reporting to the Community and Corporate Sponsorship Manager, the Community Fundraising Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the delivery and growth of community fundraising activities, peer-to-peer fundraising and supporter engagement, working collaboratively within the Community Engagement team to create positive supporter experiences and help ensure fundraising activities are delivered efficiently and on time. The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Coordinate the administration and delivery of community fundraising and peer-to-peer events and initiatives
• Build positive relationships with community fundraisers, providing timely support, guidance and fundraising resources throughout their fundraising journey
• Support supporter communications and stewardship activities across online and offline channels
• Maintain accurate records of fundraising activities, supporter interactions, campaign progress and donor information
• Monitor fundraising activity and contribute to regular reports and insights on campaign performance and supporter engagement
• Support digital fundraising activities and social media content to promote community fundraising initiatives
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to help deliver successful fundraising initiatives and a positive supporter experience

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

• Ability to coordinate activities and provide operational support within a fundraising, events, community engagement or campaign environment
• Highly organised, with good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
• A positive and helpful approach to supporting community fundraisers and responding to enquiries
• Ability to use initiative and manage routine tasks independently, while seeking guidance when required
• Proficiency using Office 365 and CRM systems
• Current WA Driver’s Licence and ability to obtain a satisfactory National Police Certificate
