Factory 2IC & Dispatch Supervisor

4 Seas Pty Ltd is Australia’s leading premium wholesaler of tuna and swordfish, located on the Sunshine Coast. An opportunity has become available for a reliable and experienced hands-on Factory 2IC / Dispatch Supervisor to support the Factory Manager and help oversee daily factory, production and dispatch operations.

The role includes:

• Supervising, training and directing factory and dispatch staff.

• Coordinating daily production, packing, labelling and dispatch requirements.

• Ensuring customer orders are checked, documented and loaded accurately.

• Coordinating transport collections, deliveries and freight requirements.

• Overseeing truck and semi-trailer loading and unloading.

• Assisting with commercial fishing vessel unloads and product receival.

• Completing production, dispatch, inventory and freight documentation.

• Monitoring product quality, traceability, food safety and HACCP requirements.

• Maintaining workplace health, safety, housekeeping and hygiene standards.

• Managing stock levels for packaging, consumables, bait, fishing gear and vessel stores.

• Assisting with freezer and cold-storage organisation.

• Coordinating routine factory and equipment maintenance.

• Supporting staff performance and identifying training needs.

• Performing hands-on factory, processing, warehouse and manual-handling duties as required.

The successful applicant will have:

• Supervisory experience in a factory, food-processing, warehouse or dispatch environment.

• Strong organisational, leadership and time-management skills.

• Experience coordinating production, freight or customer dispatches.

• Excellent attention to detail and order accuracy.

• Knowledge of food safety, HACCP and workplace health and safety.

• Competence using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.

• Experience with inventory, invoicing or warehouse systems.

• A current Class C driver’s licence.

• A forklift licence is highly desirable.

• The physical ability to undertake regular manual handling and heavy lifting.

• The ability to work in chilled processing rooms, cold rooms and freezers.

• Flexibility to work early starts, additional hours and Saturdays when required.
