In-depth knowledge of DNS including:* In-depth knowledge of DNS including:* DNS architecture and hierarchy – masters, slaves, authoritative,* Internal vs external DNS* Record types* Zone transfer vs delegation vs forwarding* Troubleshooting DNS, common console toolsIn-depth knowledge of DHCP including:* protocol including concepts such as lease times* DHCP architecture, server, client, relay* DHCP scopes* Static vs Dynamic address reservations, pools* DHCP option types and values* Troubleshooting DHCPConcepts of IP address Management and understanding of IPAM integrated with DNS and DHCP (Optus solution uses EfficientIP* Integrated DDI Solutions such as EfficientIP or similar eg Infoblox* Cloud-specific implementations of each of the above across the 3 most common Cloud platforms – AWS, Azure, GCP* General server administration skills including VM-based server and hypervisor basics
