About the role
Kitchens by CCJS is a busy, local cabinet making business, based in Cairns. Due to an increase in work load, we are seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker Installer to join our domestic team, full time. You will be required to work on a variety of different projects (mainly domestic kitchens, laundries, robes, vanities) with each day being different. Our factory is located in Bungalow, however you will be required out on site all over the Cairns Region.
Candidates require the following skills and experience:
Trade qualified (Certificate III Cabinet Making)
At least 3 years experience in the cabinet making industry
Have experience with domestic on site installations
Be able to interpret shop drawings
Good client communication
Polite and presentable
Have the ability to work unsupervised
Be punctual and reliable
Hold a current C class car license, and have own, reliable vehicle
Own a comprehensive set of hand tools and power tools suitable for cabinet installation work
Attractive contractor rate
This is a full time position, Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm, with an immediate start date. Start date can be somewhat flexible for the right applicant.
