About the Role

The Catering Assistant Kitchenhand Cleaner level 2 assists in the provision of a high-quality food & beverage service by undertaking responsibility and duties additional to the level 1 tasks in specific areas of the service.

Responsibilities include:

• Clean Kitchen equipment and appliances
• Clean and sanitise bench tops, shelving, walls, backsplashes, cool rooms and drains.
• Wash dishes, pots, trays and utensils
• Removal of rubbish from the kitchen areas
• Sweep and clean floor areas with a mop or a floor scrubber.

• Able to interpret work instructions, menus, policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with a range of people
