About the Opportunity

As the Maternity Services Data Manager – Maternity Information Systems, you will be the expert behind the data that helps maternity leaders understand performance, identify opportunities for improvement and make informed decisions for women, babies and families across the Central Coast.

This position plays a key role in ensuring high-quality maternity data supports informed decision-making, performance improvement and safe, effective care. In this role you will:

• Manage and maintain maternity data systems and the electronic birth register.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through auditing, education and ongoing support.
• Analyse and report data to support informed clinical and operational decision-making.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to drive quality improvement, research and better maternity outcomes.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife, with relevant clinical experience.
• Strong data and digital capability, including advanced Microsoft Office and large dataset management skills.
• Experience in database administration, including relational databases, programming and technical support.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to develop complex queries and translate data into meaningful insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a commitment to data integrity, confidentiality and quality improvement.
