About the role
We are seeking a Health and Physical Education Teacher (Years 7-11) to join the College for a full-time replacement contract, commencing Monday 12 October 2026 (beginning of Term 4) and concluding 24 October 2027 (End of Term 3). This role provides an opportunity to contribute to the delivery of engaging Health and Physical Education programs and support student learning and wellbeing, within a highly supportive faculty.
The position is focused on effective delivery of established programs, strong collaboration and consistent support of student wellbeing throughout the tenure. With curriculum frameworks, assessment programs and resources already in place, the successful applicant will be able to step confidently into a well‑structured teaching environment.
Key responsibilities
Teach Years 7–10 PE, Year 11 Nutrition and Year 11 Health and Wellbeing in 2026. The timetable for 2027 will be provided at the conclusion of the 2026 academic year.
Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with established curriculum and assessment programs.
Assess and report on student learning in line with College expectations.
Foster a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support continuity of learning during the replacement period.
Uphold the College's commitment to student wellbeing, child safety and professional practice.

About You
We are seeking a teacher who:
Holds appropriate tertiary qualifications and current Teacher Registration Board of South Australia (TRB SA) registration (or eligibility).
Is organised, adaptable and able to step into an established program with minimal lead-in time.
Is seeking a meaningful fixed term teaching opportunity over an extended contract period.
Has relevant experience or qualifications in Health and Physical Education (SACE experience highly desirable)
Early career teachers are encouraged to apply. This opportunity may particularly suit an early career teacher looking to gain valuable experience within a supportive and collaborative school environment.
