Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Wireless Engineer with strong experience in enterprise wireless networking. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing and troubleshooting wireless network infrastructure in a large enterprise environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement and support enterprise Wi-Fi / WLAN networks.Configure and troubleshoot wireless networks, access points and wireless controllers.Perform Wi-Fi troubleshooting, performance monitoring and optimization.Work on wireless network deployments, upgrades and migrations.Manage and troubleshoot Cisco wireless infrastructure.Configure and support wireless security and authentication.Perform wireless surveys and identify coverage, capacity and connectivity issues.Troubleshoot connectivity, roaming, interference and performance-related issues.Work with network, security and infrastructure teams to resolve complex issues.Monitor wireless network performance and ensure availability and reliability.Provide L2/L3 technical support and participate in major incident resolution.Maintain network documentation and follow ITIL processes.Support network transformation and improvement projects.Required Skills7+ years of experience in enterprise networking / wireless networking.Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless / WLAN.Good knowledge of Wi-Fi technologies, RF concepts and wireless troubleshooting.Experience with Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) and Access Points.Good understanding of TCP/IP, LAN, VLAN, DHCP and DNS.Knowledge of wireless security, authentication and 802.1X.Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.Good understanding of enterprise network architecture.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Good to HaveCisco CCNA / CCNP Wireless certification.Experience with Cisco DNA Center.Experience with Cisco ISE.Knowledge of SD-WAN and enterprise LAN/WAN.Experience with wireless network design and site surveys.Experience working in a large enterprise or managed services environment.
