Service Manager/Estimator

About the role

As the Service Manager/Estimator at Associated Airconditioning, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient and effective delivery of air conditioning and refrigeration services across Western Australia. In this full-time position based in Wangara, WA, you will be responsible for managing the company's field service team and optimising the scheduling of maintenance, repair, and installation jobs. Your strategic oversight will be crucial in ensuring the company provides a high level of customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

• Manage and coordinate the service team to ensure all jobs are completed to the highest standard and within agreed timeframes

• Oversee the scheduling and dispatch of technicians to service, maintain, and install air conditioning and refrigeration systems

• Monitor job progress and make adjustments to the schedule as needed to meet customer expectations

• Working with the manager to provide quoting and estimates for residential and commercial projects

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance efficiency

• Provide leadership and mentoring to the service team, fostering a collaborative and customer-focused culture

• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience (3+ years) in a similar service management or estimating role within the air conditioning or refrigeration industry

• Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning and refrigeration systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers and manage a team

• Proficient in using scheduling and job management software to optimise workflows and Microsoft Office applications

• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service

• Support the wider administration and office management functions of the business
