Prodoz International is an Australian agribusiness and the exclusive distributor for leading international crop nutrition and substrate brands, including Levity Crop Science (UK), Seawin Biotech (China) and Ecomix cocopeat substrates. We supply broadacre, horticulture and specialty crop growers right across Australia.

We import by the container. That means the finance work here has genuine substance to it. Landed costs allocated across inventory, stock bills, overseas suppliers, and a full order to cash cycle from purchase order through to collection.

About the Role

We are building out our finance function and we need someone to own the day to day accounts work alongside our Accounts Manager. The split is roughly 70% accounts and 30% administration.

• We are rebuilding the finance function, so you help shape the process rather than inherit someone else's.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts (the bulk of the role)

• Own accounts payable end to end: bill capture, supplier payments and vendor queries.

• Reconcile supplier statements, bank accounts, credit cards and loan accounts.

• Prepare customer invoices, allocate credits and support the invoicing cycle.

• Allocate landed costs to inventory and purchase transactions, and create stock bills.

• Follow up outstanding debtors, including collection calls.

• Set up new customers and vendors, process credit applications and keep customer data accurate in Zoho CRM.

• Support the month end close alongside the financial controller.

Administration

• Coordinate staff travel: flights, car hire, accommodation and itineraries.

• Maintain electronic and physical records and document management.

• General office coordination, and liaison with customers and suppliers.

What You'll Need

• Solid accounts payable and accounts receivable experience in a bookkeeping or accounts role.

• Demonstrated reconciliation experience across bank, supplier and customer accounts.

• Genuine attention to detail, because landed costs and stock bills are unforgiving.

• Confident with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

• Able to prioritise, work independently and keep several things moving at once.

• Full Australian working rights, and able to work onsite in Epping five days a week.

Highly regarded, not essential

• Zoho Books or Zoho One experience (we will train the right person)

• Importing, wholesale or distribution background, particularly landed cost allocation.

• Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, or similar.

• Agribusiness, horticulture or agricultural chemical exposure.
