About the role

Wintringham’s Williamstown Hostel is seeking a Domestic Services Attendant to join our team. Bring your passion for well-being to our close-knit community, fostering a warm and supportive environment for our residents. Reporting to the Residential Site manager, responsibilities include:

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, staff and visitors
• Ensure provision of clean laundry throughout the home
• Clean and maintain all areas of the home as per cleaning schedule
• Participate in resident ordering system
• Practice open communication and proactively participate in problem solving

What are we looking for?

• Ability to manage time
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Physically able to perform required tasks
• Ability to work as part of the team
• Certificates in HACC or Occupational Health and Safety such as infection control, use of chemicals and manual handling

What we offer

Employment type: Part Time Role

Pay: $31.46 - $32.28/hour (depending on your quals & experience) plus super. Above Award pay and not-for-profit salary packaging benefits of up to $18,500 each year.

Location: Williamstown Hostel (VIC)

Roster/hours of work: 6 shifts per fortnight – 42 hours per fortnight

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00am-2:30pm

Week 2: Monday, 7:00am-3:00pm
