The Role
We are seeking a hands-on Sous Chef to support the Head Chef and help lead a busy, professional kitchen.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the kitchen team
Deliver consistent, high-quality food through busy services
Assist with ordering, stock control, and food cost management
Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and service standards
Contribute to menu development and seasonal updates
Menu focus includes elevated pub favourites, premium proteins, seafood, and modern classics.
About You
What you will bring:
Sous Chef experience, or senior chef experience with readiness to step up
High-volume pub, bistro, or similar experience
Strong food cost, stock control, and kitchen organisation skills
Calm under pressure and able to lead by example
A focus on consistency, teamwork, and great guest experiences
What We Offer
$80,000 plus superannuation
Sponsorship available for the right candidate after performance review
