EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER | NOVOTEL SYDNEY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

About the role

This is a hands-on leadership role for an Executive Housekeeping professional at Novotel Sydney International Airport. You'll lead the housekeeping team, work closely with hotel leadership and other departments, solve problems, improve performance and make sure guests experience rooms and public areas that are clean, comfortable and maintained to a high standard. You'll be right in the action, not sitting in an office.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the housekeeping team

• Set daily priorities and keep everyone on track

• Train, coach and develop your team

• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure standards are met

• Monitor KPIs, productivity and guest feedback

• Manage stock, supplies and equipment

• Work closely with Front Office, Maintenance and other departments

• Resolve operational issues quickly and professionally

• Handle guest concerns when required

• Identify smarter and more efficient ways of working

About you

• Leadership experience in housekeeping or hospitality

• Know how to lead people, not just tasks

• Able to have difficult conversations while recognising, supporting and developing your team

• Results-driven and enjoy targets and KPIs

• Hands-on and not afraid to get involved when the team needs you

• Organised and able to manage a busy hotel operation

• Guest-focused and understand housekeeping's role in overall guest experience

• Ambitious and looking for opportunity to grow and take on more responsibility
