Salary : 76-80K Plus Super

We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our talented culinary team at The German Arms Hotel in the picturesque town of Hahndorf, South Australia. As a full-time Chef, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests by preparing high-quality, creative dishes that showcase the best of local produce.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing a variety of dishes across our menus, including à la carte, specials and daily chef's selections
• Ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste and presentation
• Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment
• Collaborating with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and refine existing dishes
• Providing guidance and support to junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment
• Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1-2years of experience as a Chef in a similar hospitality environment
• Formal culinary training or qualifications
• Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques, flavour profiles and food presentation
• Strong time management and organisational skills to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
• Ability to thrive in a team environment and provide mentorship to junior staff
• Passion for using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients to create delicious, memorable dishes
