Landscape Construction Apprentice

AJ Landscape Construction has been creating outdoor spaces around Geelong, Bellarine and the Surf Coast since 2021. We are a small business and pride ourselves on transforming unused areas into aesthetic and practical spaces for all to enjoy. 

The foundation of our business is built by our work ethic and enjoying what we do. We are committed to providing high-quality workmanship with a smile and professionalism.

We are looking for a reliable and motivated apprentice to join our small but mighty team on a full time basis. If you enjoy working outdoors, like working with your hands, and are keen to learn a trade with real career opportunities while having fun, this could be a bit of you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assisting with the construction of landscapes – think patios, paving, pool surrounds, concrete, decking, retaining walls, garden beds and more

• Preparing and levelling sites

• Learning to use tools and machinery safely and efficiently

• Helping with planting and basic garden work

• Following site safety procedures

What We’re Looking For:

• Someone who’s keen to learn and isn’t afraid of a bit of hard work

• A positive attitude and willingness to take direction

• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team

• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather

• Driver’s licence essential

• Must be eligible to undertake a Certificate III in Landscape Construction

• No experience, 1st, 2nd or 3rd year apprentices all considered
