People Experience Business Partner

Role Overview:

We’re looking for an experienced People Experience Business Partner to work closely with leaders and drive both strategic and operational people outcomes across the organisation.

This is a broad, high-impact role that blends HR business partnering with organisational development, culture, and leadership capability. You’ll act as a trusted partner, supporting leaders through complex employment and industrial relations matters while driving initiatives that strengthen engagement, performance, and the overall employee experience.

You’ll coach and empower leaders to confidently manage their teams, build high performing and values aligned cultures, and navigate workforce challenges. You’ll also play a key role in shaping organisational culture, embedding leadership capability, and delivering initiatives that enhance engagement and performance.

Working in a purpose driven environment, you'll help ensure our people practices not only meet legislative and industrial obligations but also reflect our values and commitment to a workplace where all people are respected, supported, and empowered to flourish.

What You’ll do:

• Partner with leaders to provide practical, balanced, and values driven People Experience advice.
• Lead and support complex employee and industrial relations matters including investigations, grievances, disciplinary processes, performance management, and workplace disputes.
• Provide expert advice on Enterprise Agreements, Awards, Fair Work legislation, National Employment Standards, and organisational policies.
• Monitor industrial relations developments and support organisational compliance while proactively managing risk.
• Support workforce planning, succession planning, and organisational change initiatives.
• Build leadership capability through coaching and targeted development to enable high-performing, engaged, and values led teams
• Contribute to organisational development initiatives focused on culture, engagement, leadership capability, and team effectiveness.
• Manage and facilitate investigations, disciplinary, and grievance matters
• Coach leaders and employees to drive strong performance outcomes
• Use people data and insights to identify trends, inform decision-making, and improve workforce outcomes.

What you Bring:

• Proven experience delivering strategic, impactful solutions on complex people matters
• Strong experience in IR/ER, organisational development, culture, or leadership capability within a complex environment
• Strong experience managing complex employee and industrial relations matters in a contemporary workplace environment.
• The ability to influence, challenge, and inspire leaders to lift performance, engagement, and inclusion
• Deep understanding of culture, leadership, engagement, and change principles
• In-depth knowledge of employment law, Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and legislation
• Confidence working with HR systems and data to inform decisions
• The ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and operate with confidence
• The ability to balance organisational risk, compliance, and commercial considerations with a people-centred approach.
• Experience influencing, coaching, and partnering with leaders to navigate people challenges and build leadership capability.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Strong prioritisation and problem-solving capability in a fast-paced environment
• Experience delivering people initiatives that create real organisational impact
