QUALIFICATIONS GROUP LEADER I – BREVARD AFTER SCHOOL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • Must be 18 years of age at time of employment • Experience working with children PREFERRED: • High school diploma or equivalent CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES – REQUIRED: • DCF Standards for Quality Afterschool Programs (SQAP – 8 hrs online as Inservice) or equivalent DCF-AMAP Course (12 hrs), or complete within 90 days of appointment • American Red Cross or American Heart Association First Aid/CPR/AED certification, or obtain within 90 days • BAS Academy Level I School Age Certification (24 hrs online); begin within 90 days and complete within one year • Valid State Driver’s License GROUP LEADER II – BREVARD AFTER SCHOOL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • High school diploma or equivalent • Two (2) years’ experience working with children CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES – REQUIRED: • DCF Standards for Quality Afterschool Programs (SQAP – 8 hrs online as Inservice) or equivalent DCF-AMAP Course (12 hrs) • BAS Academy Level I & II School Age Certification (48 hrs online) • American Red Cross or American Heart Association First Aid/CPR/AED certification • BAS Academy Level III School Age Certification (24 hrs online), or begin within 90 days and complete within one year • Valid State Driver’s License Please review the full job description: https://brevardpublicschoolsfl.sites.thrillshare.com/documents/departments-and-programs/human-resources/job-descriptions/18568770
