Labourer - Timber Wall Frames Assembler

Langs Building Supplies is a family owned and operated business, who for more than 50 years, has been supplying a full range of quality building products to our customers.  We are passionate about delivering the best service and quality advice.
We are seeking labourers within our fabrication department based at our Yatala location. The ideal candidates will be self-motivated and hard-working people.  The role is 38 hrs a week, Monday to Thursday 5:00am to 1:30pm Friday 05:00am to 11:00am

About the Role:

·         Assembling frames for houses/units.

·         Frame assemblers and console operators

·         Work effectively in a team environment

·         Use hand tools such as nail guns & screw guns

·         Follow safe working standards and procedures

Skills and Experience:

·         Previous experience using hand tools - Nail guns in particular

·         Read simple drawings

·         Ideally from assembly and/or manufacturing environment

·         Mechanically minded

·         Must be fit and able to lift 20kgs

·         Must have excellent verbal communication skills

·        Ability to work unsupervised

·        Ability to meet deadlines

·        Able to follow procedures

·        Must have the right to work in Australia
