Home Claims Consultant - 3 Month Contract

You might not have heard of Auto & General, but you'll know our brands - Budget Direct, ING and Qantas Insurance. We're one of Australia's leading insurance groups and we're looking for driven, compassionate individuals to join our Home Claims team on a 3-month contract.

This isn't a shadowing role - you'll be working on real cases, supporting real customers from day one. And the best part? We will provide you with all of the training you need to succeed in the role. 

The important details: 

Start Date: 30 November 2026

Duration: 3 months (12 weeks)

Locations: North Lakes & Kawana

Days: Monday to Friday 

Hours: 8am - 4pm

What You'll Do

• Be the first point of contact for customers over the phone who are navigating a home insurance claim

• Review reports from builders, engineers, and suppliers to make informed claims decisions

• Build relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers to drive the best outcomes

Develop skills in customer communication, claims management, and compliance through our structured 12-week training program

Who We're Looking For

We welcome applications from all backgrounds. You don't need insurance experience - just the right attitude.

• Currently enrolled in, or holding, a tertiary qualification in any discipline

• Genuine passion for helping people

• Strong communicator with good time management

• Available for the full 3-month contract from 30 November 2026
