Reliability Engineer - Ancillary (12 month Fixed Term)

We are seeking a motivated Reliability Engineer to join our Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) team at Christmas Creek for a 12 month fixed term opportunity. In this role, you will provide technical and engineering expertise to support data-driven maintenance decisions and optimise equipment performance across the fleet. You will play a key role in driving reliability outcomes through root cause analysis, preventative maintenance strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives, helping to enhance the efficiency and performance of our HME assets.

• Partner with supervisors and workshop teams to deliver practical engineering solutions and continuous improvement
• Analyse maintenance data and KPIs to identify trends and drive targeted corrective actions
• Provide reliability engineering support aligned with maintenance strategies and Whole of Life plans
• Lead Root Cause Analyses for recurring failures and implement sustainable solutions
• Optimise maintenance planning and critical spares to improve HME performance and reliability

• Experience in a heavy mobile maintenance environment is preferred.
• Exposure to mineral processing or similar industrial environments is advantageous.
• Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a relevant trade certification in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
• Proficient communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
• Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (e.g., SAP) is highly regarded.
