About the role

As a Key Account Manager, you’ll manage existing major accounts while developing new business opportunities across key market segments nationally, with a particular focus on the Oil & Gas sector and other strategically important industries. You'll act as a trusted partner to customers, helping them maximise value through IOR's fuel, storage, and technology solutions while driving profitable growth for the business

• Develop and grow relationships with major customers while identifying and securing new key accounts across target market segments.
• Understand customer needs and proactively deliver tailored fuel, storage, and technology solutions that create long-term value.
• Lead customer engagement activities including account reviews, contract discussions, and stakeholder meetings.
• Prepare tenders, proposals, and commercial agreements by collaborating with internal teams to deliver winning solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry opportunities to support strategic growth and multi-product engagement.

What you'll bring

You'll bring strong commercial acumen, a relationship-driven approach, and a proven ability to influence stakeholders in complex customer environments. You're a skilled communicator, confident negotiator, and enjoy creating solutions that deliver mutual success for customers and the business.

• Proven experience managing key accounts and developing new business opportunities within complex or high-value customer environments.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and sales skills with the ability to deliver profitable outcomes and long-term customer growth.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
• High level of computer literacy, including experience preparing detailed tenders, quotations, and customer proposals.
• Strong understanding of fuel, distribution, storage, industrial, transport, mining, or related sectors, with a strategic and customer-focused mindset.
