Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its financial strategy and ensure the long-term sustainability of the organization. The CFO will be a key member of the Senior Executive Team, working closely with the CEO and Deputy CEO to develop and implement strategic financial plans that support the cultural mission of the institution. This role is pivotal in fostering a culture of accountability, strategic thinking, and evidence-based decision-making, and in building financial and business capability across the organization. The successful candidate will also act as the Chief Risk Officer, leading enterprise risk management and ensuring that the institution's risk appetite is appropriately calibrated. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, economics, commerce, or a related discipline, with a preference for a professional accounting qualification. Experience in whole-of-organization financial planning and strategy, as well as in procurement or compliance-related activities at an organizational level, is mandatory. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading financial governance frameworks, maintaining compliance with relevant standards, and driving continuous improvement in financial, corporate, and business systems. They should also demonstrate the ability to influence senior decision-making, lead high-performing teams, and build productive relationships with key stakeholders. The role requires a strategic thinker with commercial acumen, the ability to adapt to changing priorities, and a commitment to the values of the organization, including diversity, inclusion, and a child-safe environment.
