Electrician - BMA

ETA Group is seeking experienced Electricians for upcoming Raw Coal MCC replacement and HV switchboard change-out works at Goonyella Mine.
 
This is a short-term opportunity consisting of approximately one week of pre-work followed by a four-week shutdown, working 12-hour shifts on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster.

• $68.77 per hour casual rate
• Additional $3.00 per hour site allowance

• Approximately five weeks of work, including pre-work and shutdown activities

About the role
 
Working within a crew of approximately eight electrical personnel, you will assist with Raw Coal MCC replacement and HV switchboard change-out works.
 
Pre-work will include off-site training, SOPs, medicals, online training, confined-space training and site authorisation activities.
 
What we're looking for

• Current unrestricted electrical licence
• Standard 11 - highly advantageous
• Current Coal Board Medical - highly advantageous
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Experience with MCC and/or HV switchboard replacement works
• Previous BMA or Goonyella Mine experience - highly advantageous
• Current Goonyella Mine authorisations - highly regarded

Successful applicants will be required to satisfy all relevant site access requirements, including medical, training and authorisation requirements where applicable.
