Duties

• Lead electrical and automation projects from concept through to commissioning
• Manage PLC and SCADA modifications, optimisation and troubleshooting
• Troubleshoot electrical issues across the manufacturing plant
• Work closely with production, maintenance and external contractors
• Identify opportunities to improve automation, efficiency and reliability
• Ensure projects meet safety, quality, budget and timeframe requirements
• Maintain electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation

Skills & experience

• Degree qualified Electrical Engineer or equivalent
• 5+ years' electrical engineering experience within manufacturing
• Strong PLC experience – Allen Bradley, Siemens or Omron highly regarded
• Proven experience delivering electrical or automation projects
• Strong industrial networks, instrumentation and fault-finding knowledge
