forex sport pty ltd FOREX SPORT PTY. LTD. is a growing Australian financial services company providing secure, efficient foreign exchange and international money transfer solution. We are currently seeking a full-time Software Engineer to join our team, with the role based in Melbourne, VIC.

This position is 38 hours per week, and the ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant experience and hold a Bachelor or higher qualification in Information Technology. A competitive salary of $79,000 to $84,000, plus superannuation, is on offer. Benefits Task & responsibilities Analyse business, operational and user requirements for Forex Worldwide’s bespoke client portal and translate these into software requirements and technical specifications in consultation with Travelr.

Work closely with Travelr, the company’s external technology provider, throughout the development and implementation of the client portal, acting as Forex Worldwide’s internal technical counterpart. Develop, modify and maintain software components and program code required for the client portal and associated foreign exchange and financial services functions. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including project scoping, requirements analysis, development, coding, implementation, testing and ongoing enhancement of the platform.

Coordinate software development activities with Travelr, monitor technical progress and assist with managing project requirements, priorities, deliverables and implementation timelines. Develop and maintain APIs and system integrations connecting the client portal with internal systems and external payment, banking, foreign exchange and financial service providers. Review existing applications and platform functionality to identify technical limitations, system deficiencies, performance issues and opportunities for improvement.

Test, debug and diagnose software defects, integration issues and application faults, and implement or coordinate appropriate technical solutions. Write, modify and maintain program code in accordance with approved system requirements, technical specifications, coding standards and secure development practices. Assist with the deployment, configuration and ongoing support of the client portal and associated cloud-based applications and infrastructure.

Monitor application performance, system behaviour and operational metrics and implement improvements to enhance system reliability, functionality and user experience. Apply appropriate software security, authentication, access-control and data protection measures throughout the development and implementation lifecycle. Prepare and maintain technical documentation relating to software functionality, system integrations, development changes, testing, deployment and operational procedures.

Liaise with management, operational staff and external technology providers to ensure software solutions meet the company’s business, client service and regulatory requirements. Provide ongoing technical support and undertake continuous development and enhancement of the client portal as business and user requirements evolve.
