Job Description:

Our client, a major Australian construction company with a global footprint is seeking a proactive Internal Audit Manager to support the growth of their Internal Audit Department. You'll be responsible for planning and executing all phases of the Internal Audit assignments, collaborating with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute all stages of the Internal Audits, including risk assessment, documentation, testing, and reporting.
• Lead walkthroughs with stakeholders, documenting risks, controls and testing controls for design and operating effectiveness.
• Document findings, track remediation progress, and prepare reports for management and external auditors.
• Manage internal and outsourced 3rd party resources.

Requirements:

• ACA / ACCA / CIA qualified with minimum 6 years experience working in Internal/ External Audit.
• Proficient use of data analytics tools.
• Advanced understanding of operational, financial, and business processes, with a focus on risks.
• Demonstrated relevant experience in Project Management, including the ability to produce timely deliverables, and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
