About State Sport Centres:The Victorian State Sport Centres Trust (SSCT) operates and maintains over $1 billion assets including four of Australia’s largest multi-sport venues, the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC), the State Netball and Hockey Centre (SNHC), Lakeside Stadium incorporating the State Athletics Centre, and Knox Regional Sports Park including the State Basketball Centre (SBC).
Unlike other major international standard venues that host sport and entertainment events, SSCT venues also provide access for users at all levels, from elite and professional athletes to school and community participants 7 days per week, up to 16 hours a day.

About the role:As a Sports Technology Officer, your primary responsibilities will include:
Assist with the setup, operation and pack-down of sports technology equipment for bookings and events across SSCT venues.
Operate timing equipment, scoreboards and related sports technology systems to support successful event delivery.
Support the movement, placement and preparation of sports technology equipment across venues.
Work closely with the Sports Technology Supervisor and Sports Technology Specialist to deliver high-quality event outcomes.
Communicate effectively with event organisers, participants, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure a positive customer experience.
Assist Venue Operations teams to ensure safe, efficient and professional event setups and pack-downs.
Support the delivery of national and international sporting events, community sport and school events across SSCT venues.
This role will primarily work at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) and Lakeside Stadium, with opportunities to work across all SSCT venues including State Netball & Hockey Centre and State Basketball Centre.
Required skills and Qualifications:
Experience working at sporting events, competitions or in a similar event operations environment.
Familiarity with sports technology, timing systems, scoreboards or related event technology.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform effectively in fast-paced environments.
Excellent computer literacy and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Current Victorian Employee Working with Children Check.
