We’re currently seeking two Farm Hands to join our Petro Aggregation in Western Australia.

About the Role
Reporting to the Farm Manager, you’ll become an important member of the Petro team, helping deliver day-to-day livestock and property operations while maintaining the high standards Stone Axe is known for.
The role offers a great mix of livestock work, machinery operation, infrastructure maintenance and property improvement projects.
No two days are the same, and you’ll be given the opportunity to learn, grow and develop your skills across a large-scale Wagyu enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Cattle handling and livestock husbandry
- Yard work including drafting, processing and animal health activities
- Feeding and monitoring livestock
- Operation of tractors, machinery and farm equipment
- Fencing, water infrastructure and general property maintenance
- Weed, pasture and land management activities
- Supporting property improvement projects
- Maintaining accurate records where required
- Contributing to a strong safety culture and safe work environment
- Assisting with seasonal operational activities across the aggregation

- Enjoys working outdoors and around livestock
- Works well within a team environment
- Is reliable, self-motivated and safety focused
- Can follow instructions while also showing initiative
- Wants to continue developing skills and building a career in agriculture
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous farming, livestock or station experience
- Current driver’s licence
- Commitment to working safely
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Highly Regarded
- Cattle handling experience
- Machinery operating experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- HR licence, forklift licence or other relevant tickets
- ChemCert accreditation
- Experience working within a commercial livestock operation
