DRILLER'S OFFSIDER

Looking for a Driller's Offsider ready to earn a real start in mining through drilling. This is a FIFO role with roster options, based on sites across the country.
Drilling is hard, dirty, remote and physically demanding — one of the toughest jobs in the resources industry. The right candidate will have the attitude and work ethic to match, and we'll make sure they find a crew that backs them.

What this role can lead to

• Clear progression: Offsider → Trainee → Driller
• Nationally recognised training (Cert II/III in Drilling Operations)
• Strong earnings from the start
• A genuine entry point into mining through drilling

• Assisting the driller with safe, efficient drilling operations
• Manual handling of rods, tools, sample bags, core trays and core samples
• Cleaning, greasing, and maintaining equipment, keeping the rig area tidy
• Loading/unloading gear and supporting rig moves, set-up and pack-down
• Completing pre-start checks and following site safety systems and paperwork
• Working as part of a crew where reliability and teamwork matter every day

• FIFO roles across the country
• Roster options may include 2/1 or 4/2
• Weekly pay + super, competitive for entry level

• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Manual C Class Licence
• Strong fitness and resilience
• Safety-first attitude and ability to work in remote, challenging conditions
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical + Drug & Alcohol test

• Labour-intensive background (construction, farming, trades, military, labouring)
• White Card
• HR / HR-B licence
