RTO Trainer & Assessor (Cert IV WHS/HSR Training)

Collaboration Learning is an established Brisbane-based RTO committed to helping school leavers, mature students and adults entering or returning to the workforce gain practical skills and qualifications that support their career goals.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Trainer & Assessor to join our team and deliver engaging, high-quality training and assessment, with a key focus on delivering Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (WHS) and Health and Safety Representative (HSR) training.

As a Trainer & Assessor, you’ll play an important role in helping learners develop the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to succeed in the workplace. You understand that every learner is different and can adapt your approach to support varying levels of experience, knowledge and confidence. You bring professionalism and energy to your training and take pride in seeing your learners progress, achieve their qualifications and become more confident in their careers.

To be successful, you will have:

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) – mandatory
• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (WHS) or equivalent vocational qualification
• Demonstrated industry experience and vocational competency in Work Health and Safety
• The appropriate HSR Trainer qualification to deliver Health and Safety Representative training
• Previous experience as a Trainer & Assessor within RTO/VET setting, delivering Certificate IV WHS training and assessment, particularly in an online setting
• Demonstrated experience delivering high quality, engaging and interactive training
• Strong communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for supporting learners from diverse backgrounds and experience levels
• A learner-focused approach, with the ability to build rapport and create a positive learning environment
• Current WWCC and National Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain
