Senior Barista

The Iconic and award winning Little Sparrow Melbourne Café is now taking applications for Senior Baristas to be part of our Eastland store.

Little Sparrow is a boutique sophisticated and established café brand located in many states of Australia. We offer our specialty award winning roasted coffee, exclusive French baked cakes in conjunction with our fabulous pastries and handmade sandwiches.

The Role:

As a Senior Barista you will be reporting directly to the store Manager, your duties will include

• Preparing and Serving various Specialty Coffee and Hot Drinks
• Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils and equipment's.
• Serving customers and using the POS
• Engaging with your team and customers alike
• Opening and Closing of the store

Skills & Experience:

• Peoples person with a positive , can do attitude
• Ability to think on your feet, multitask and work under pressure
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage with customers
• Previous experience in café ( 3 Years as a Barista)

What's on Offer:

We have on offer for the right candidate a full time or part time position available. We operate between shopping centre hours Monday to Sunday - you must be available for a rotating roster which will include weekends.

Pay: $27.08 – $40.62 per hour

Experience:

• Barista: 3 years (Required)
• Customer service: 3 years (Required)
• Food handling: 2 years (Preferred)
