We are seeking one experienced Manufacturer to join our dynamic team in Sydney. As a Manufacturer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products are packaged to the highest standards. The ideal candidates will possess a high attention to detail and work as part of a small team.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing the dispatch and warehousing team including order collation, picking, packing, batching and loading outgoing shipments, ensuring compliance with requirements in relation to WHS, Quality and environmental regulatory requirements.

• Responsible for maintaining quality control systems to ensure 99% DIFOT (delivery in full on time) for all outgoing orders including co-ordination with the manufacturing team, waste disposal, inventory control and outgoing delivery.

• Work order confirmation of incoming finished goods from production and confirmation of inventory consumed in the production of those finished goods.

• Co-ordination of dispatch schedules and haulier runs for the independent market and liaison with hauliers and supply planners from large chain end customers to ensure correct allocation of delivery slots and 100% DIFOT on orders dispatched.

• Work closely with the Kitchen operations team to ensure correct production run schedules including batch size and priority requirements according to the sales order entry to ensure all orders are fulfilled correctly on time and in full.   

• Identifying business opportunities with regard to order collation and dispatch in order to optimise the cost to serve of all customers, devising new scheduling systems and work processes to streamline the operation manufacturing productivity.

• Developing business plans on new customer delivery options with the sales and operations team to ensure optimal freight batching and delivery options interstate as well as local customer last mile delivery.

• Implementation of operational pricing procedures with contract hauliers and shippers as well as cross dock pricing mechanisms for interstate transport.
  

The successful applicant must have at least 5 years of employment background, be a qualified forklift driver experienced dealing with inbound and outbound goods, inventory movements, customer interactions, systems and process expertise, good communication skills and pro-active problem-solving capability.
