About the role
Quakers Hill X-Ray & Ultrasound is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Graduate Radiographer to join our growing team on a full/part-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or early-career radiographer who is looking for a supportive workplace, hands-on experience and the opportunity to develop their career within medical imaging.
For the right candidate, there may also be a future opportunity to progress into sonography training, subject to performance, business requirements and suitability.
What You'll Be DoingYour responsibilities will include:
Performing general X-ray examinations
Providing a high standard of patient care
Working closely with radiologists, sonographers and administrative staff
Maintaining accurate patient and imaging records
Following radiation safety and quality assurance procedures
Assisting with the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice
Developing your clinical skills with support from our experienced team
We would love to hear from you if you:
Hold a recognised qualification in Medical Radiation Science / Diagnostic Radiography
Hold or are eligible for AHPRA registration
Hold or are eligible for the appropriate NSW radiation licence
Are a new graduate or early-career radiographer
Have good communication and patient-care skills
Are reliable, motivated and willing to learn
Work well within a small and supportive team
Have an interest in developing your career in medical imaging
We are particularly interested in candidates who have a genuine interest in ultrasound and sonography.
For a suitable candidate who demonstrates strong performance, commitment and long-term interest in the practice, there may be an opportunity for future sonography training and professional development.
This makes the position particularly suitable for a junior radiographer looking for a workplace where they can build their radiography experience while potentially working towards a broader career in medical imaging.
