Apollo Patios has been manufacturing roofing for outdoor spaces since 1995. From our Parkinson factory we manufacture insulated panel and single skin roofing for patios, carports, decks, pergolas and commercial outdoor areas and supply full kit solutions for our customers.

About the Role

This is an in-house welding and fabrication role based at Parkinson. It is a mix of MIG welding, general fabrication and hands-on support around the warehouse. You do not need to be a boilermaker. You do need to weld well, work safely and be reliable.

What You Will Be Doing

•     MIG welding in steel and aluminium

•     Welding posts to base plates

•     General fabrication work to order

•     Operating the forklift around the factory and yard

•     General warehouse maintenance, tidy-ups and day to day tasks

•     Dropping off and picking up items from the powdercoater in the company vehicle

•     Pitching in with the team wherever the work is

What We Are Looking For

•     Competent MIG welding in both steel and aluminium

•     General fabrication experience

•     Current forklift licence

•     Current driver’s licence and a clean record

•     Available five days a week, full time

•     Reliable. You show up on time, every day, and the team can count on you

•     A safe, tidy approach to your work and your work area

•     Happy to take direction and work in a small team
