Maintenance Fitter

Vector Technologies is a company with manufacturing expertise in the fields of Injection and Blow Moulding as well a hybrid fabric technology. We specialise in manufacturing technical and innovative products for a range of market sectors including medical and food packaging. To complement our dynamic and growing business, we are currently seeking an accurate and reliable Mechanical Maintenance Technician with strong TIG welding and machining expertise.

About the Role

Conduct routine and preventative maintenance.

Able to weld (specifically TIG welding).

Able to operate tools and equipment (including workshop machinery like lathes and mills).

Follow instructions and practices.

Good communication skills.

Good health and physical capacity

High Attention to details and mechanical mindset.

Must pass a pre-employment medical

Prefer experience with blow and injection molding machines

Prefer experience with plastic granulators and conveyers

Skills and Experience

 Trade Certificate – Mechanical Fitter / Welder / Fabricator.

Proven machining skills with the ability to build, find, and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical machinery.

Proficient in TIG welding with the ability to handle changing priorities.

Able to work with limited supervision and with others.

Work in a clean-room environment.

Ability to think outside the box and have a ''can-do'' attitude
