Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing care and support to individuals in the community with various needs including physical and mental disabilities, learning disabilities, and elderly care.
ABN and Car is a must!
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with accessing community resources and services
Provide emotional and social support to clients, engaging in conversation and social activities
Assist clients with mobility and transferring, using mobility aids if necessary
Support clients with meal planning, preparation, and feeding if required
Assist clients with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, shopping and personal care if required
Transport Clients to appointments and outings.
At Ability Street, the necessary qualifications for Support Work may vary based on the type of supports required by individuals. While qualifications are desired, they are not mandatory. As a company, we understand that it may be your first time in the field, and we are committed to providing you with the relevant training and skills to help you grow your career in Support Work.
