Service Technician – Transport Airconditioning

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Technician to join our Sydney team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a hands-on, field service role where no two days are the same — you'll be working across customer sites and in the workshop, servicing, diagnosing, and repairing Bus & Coach refrigeration systems for a well-established and growing business.

• Servicing, repairing, and maintaining equipment across field and workshop locations

• Conducting diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify and resolve faults efficiently

• Performing routine preventative maintenance, inspections, and component replacements

• Completing detailed service reports including findings, parts used, and labour time

• Managing parts and inventory on your service vehicle

• Communicating professionally with customers regarding job status and equipment performance

• Following all WHS procedures including safe handling of refrigerants and electrical systems

Essential:

• Relevant Trade Qualification in the Automotive Industry

• Current ARC Refrigerant Handling Licence (or eligibility to obtain)

• Valid Australian Driver's Licence

• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration faults

• Competence with diagnostic tools and OEM software

• Sound knowledge of WHS requirements and safe work practices

• Professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach

Desirable:

• ⭐ Forklift Licence (LF)

• ⭐ Experience with transport airconditioning or refrigeration systems

• ⭐ Willingness to participate in ongoing manufacturer training and certification
