We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Manager to lead cyber security operations and compliance activities across our Australian business. Reporting to the UK-based VP Global Cyber Security Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining a strong security posture, managing operational security risks, and supporting customer and regulatory security requirements.

This is a hands-on leadership role that combines security operations, governance, risk management, compliance, and stakeholder engagement within a cloud-based SaaS environment.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day cyber security operations, including incident response, threat monitoring, vulnerability management, and security investigationsManage relationships with external security providers and support effective security monitoring and response processesOversee vulnerability management activities and drive remediation efforts across business systems and productsManage and optimise web application firewall (WAF) capabilities and application security processesSupport compliance with security frameworks, regulatory requirements, and industry standardsMaintain security policies, controls, and risk management processesLead security input for customer assurance activities, tenders, security questionnaires, and third-party assessmentsPartner with technical and business teams to embed security best practices across operations and product developmentLead, coach, and develop a small cyber security team

Skills And Experience

Proven experience in cyber security operations, security leadership, or a similar role within a SaaS, cloud, or regulated environmentStrong knowledge of vulnerability management, incident response, cloud security, and security monitoring technologiesExperience working with security tools such as EDR, SIEM, DLP, WAF, or similar platformsUnderstanding of security frameworks, compliance requirements, and risk management practicesStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical risks to both technical and non-technical audiencesRelevant security certifications are advantageous
