GK Software Australia Pty Ltd is looking for a Senior Consultant. The full-time position is based in Melbourne.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Guide Customers by analysing their current business processes, identifying key business needs.

• Analysing and drafting business solutions / plans for leading retailers in the Omnichannel context, in particular POS, mobile touchpoints, and store goods management.

• Producing estimates for the proposed solutions.

• Advising our customers on the introduction of the GK standard software into their business models.

• Requirements engineering - Preparation of system specifications and requirements for implementation in close coordination with customers.

• Taking responsibility for deploying functional software, such as creating, adopting and implementing system test plans, which ensure acceptable quality and integrity of the system.

• Configuring the systems for customers.

• Support the customer in the preparation to go live, quality assurance and key user training.

• Contact person for our customers regarding all functional topics.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• At least 7 years of experience in a similar position.

• Knowledge of GK Software specific software products.

• Experience in respect of system analysis, design and configuration of software for customer needs.

• Experience producing T-Shirt and FINE estimates for projects.

• Knowledge of system design including networks and hardware configurations.

• Strong technical aptitude.
