Interim Executive Manager, Clinical Services

The  Opportunity

Accomplished senior nursing executive to step into a key interim leadership role with a respected regional health service.

Reporting directly to the CEO and operating as a key member of the Executive Team, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across clinical services, with responsibility for clinical governance, quality and safety, risk, accreditation, workforce capability and service performance.

This is a highly visible leadership appointment requiring an executive who can quickly establish credibility, build strong relationships with clinical teams and provide stability and direction during a period of transition. You will work closely with the CEO, Executive colleagues and senior clinical leaders, providing trusted advice while remaining sufficiently connected to day-to-day clinical operations.

You will bring

• significant senior nursing management or executive experience, current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse,
• strong knowledge of NSQHS and Aged Care Quality Standards, and
• demonstrated experience leading people, performance and improvement within complex clinical environments.

Importantly, you will understand what is different about leading in a regional or rural health service—being visible, accessible, pragmatic and able to work effectively with the workforce and community while maintaining strong executive oversight.

Approximately six-month interim appointment, with the potential to extend.
