Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and providing excellent customer service. The Medical Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients and will play a critical role in ensuring a positive patient experience.

The Level 2 Medical Receptionist is an experienced and trusted member of the administrative team. This role is responsible for delivering a high standard of front desk and administrative services, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for patients, visitors, and healthcare staff. The position supports daily clinic operations, maintains accurate patient records, and contributes to a collaborative, respectful, and high-functioning team environment.

The Level 2 Medical Receptionist is also expected to provide leadership support to junior receptionists and trainees, model best practices, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Schedule appointments and manage patient records
• Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
• Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records system
